Youse crazy.Don't look at me. I think it'sperfectly logical to set well into Sept and even hatch in early October. November is too late.

I don't like having to run electric outside and I don't like chicks indoors past 3 weeks of age... So I hatch in summer.

If it helps, no one could tell me anything either at that age. I turned out ok. (I think) 
I don't keep mine (usually) past 1 week in here. Little boogers start partying too hard. My chicks that hatched in Nov for the Halloween hatch survived the -30s cold front that came through in December. They were in the tractor shop with a light.
