EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

I splurged a bit when I found a clearance air mattress for ten and folding chair for nine dollars. I won't be able to bring them home, but the four nights at regular campgrounds, and one in the vehicle in transit will be much more comfortable while saving my expensive backpacking mattress the wear and tear.

Good thinking. By the time you get home you'll be a regular pro.

I like my backpacking pad, I used it two weeks ago, but I only need it four nights in the Backcountry hiking. The pack trip supplies cots, and I wanted the bigger matress for campgrounds. I have a cot I take when we camp with horses here, so I am used to that.
I have learned a lot, I just wish I had real experience with the compass and topographical map. I picked common trails though late in the season though so it shouldn't be a problem.
