Its been really hot today. Like 'walking on the face of the sun' kinda hot. I've got a wilting hen in my livingroom.

Exactly. Stinking hot. All hens accounted for. Oh and roosters too. Forecast will make you wilt just thinking about it.

I have low progesterone and an irritable cervix, so I dilate slowly, have lots of contractions the entire pregnancy, and then when it decides to stop screwing off, it goes fast. :/

I lost a twin at 24 weeks, after giving birth because I slept through my entire labor with them and ended up with an emergency c-section because I walked in 10cm dilated. (Well, he lived for 3 weeks, so died technically at "27" weeks gestational age.)

Three hours to the hospital! Yep. You better tell hubby to be ready to catch!
You have some unique pregnancy complications for sure. Sorry you went through the loss of your twins hope I didn't salt an old wound. What happened to me was bad but I can't even imagine something like that. I'll be praying for you and for baby to arrive safe and sound! I would think giving your history they would want to just keep you in the hospital for a few days before your due. . But insurance probably wouldn't wanna pay. I think I would be renting a motel close to the hospital or something for the last week if I had the money. . . I would hate to give birth on the side of the road somewhere! And ambulance rides are horrible.. . and expensive.

I just hyperlinked over & what a total surprise to see that's exactly the wilting chicken I was posting about. Shes always had a lot of issues & the killer heat isn't helping. I think she'll be ok. She got her soft egg shell out, she ate some scrambled eggs & shes roosting. All good signs, if Mother Nature would just give everybody a break. I want to thank you for trying to help Emmy & my DD. You are officially my new favorite person.

Hi all.long time.I just recently hatched my first ayam clemani from my pair.I just got a pair of buff Batman cochins too and have about 20 ayam cemani eggs under Broody.
