It is partially hydrogenated, so it means that it LESS sh....y?
Not at all! DON'T EAT IT!! It is one of the most harmful "food"!
Eat butter/lard/ suite any animal fats or vegetal oil, what ever DON'T USE MARGARINE!
You've got to keep reading to the bottom Benny...lol. :hugs

"In the United States, partial hydrogenation has been common as a result of preference for domestically produced oils. However, since the mid-1990s, many countries around the world have started to move away from using partially hydrogenated oils.[46] This led to the production of new margarine varieties that contain less or no trans fat.[47]

The United States Food and Drug Administration ordered in June 2015 that almost no trans fat could be added to food in America after a three-year grace period. Steven Nissen, the chair of cardiovascular medicine at the Cleveland Clinic said "in many ways, trans fat is a real tragic story for the American diet, In the 1950s and '60s, we mistakenly told Americans that butter and eggs were bad for them and pushed people to margarine, which is basically trans fat."[48]"

I had a couple that wanted to savage a few of their own piglets. One killed a piglet and ate all the legs to the knee joint.:sick Not much different that a hen that pecks and kills her chicks. Unfortunate though.
I found a pic of one of my sows! That was a while ago. :love

Love bacon, sausage, & pork chops, but I won't have a hog on the place. My grandpa told me when I was a young kid not to ever let a hog in with a cow about to calve; it'll root in after the calf, pull & eat it, killing the cow in the process. I've never forgotten it.

I have this thing for livestock though, it has to have a purpose I guess. and pig is food unfortunately. I thought about a pet pig, but I cant justify those feeding costs. just dont work out for me. Looks fun though! perhaps if I could afford it, the kids would love one thats for sure lol
I agree. If I'm feeding an animal, it should have a purpose. The hermit crabs and hamster only get to be here because they take the place of three drakes and a bunch of chickens. They also came with enough supplies to make the trade sweeter yet!

Just like chickens. You have to pull maintenance. But chickens walk, Peck and nose thru their waste.
Pigs excrement is always in the same spot and far away from their food and shelter.
If you don't clean up after yoir chickens, it ia the same scenario for swine, horses, goats, turkeys or anything with an exit hole in their bum.:lau
It takes seconds to rake, scoup and haul pig manure. If you stay on top of it.:woot
:sick I don't want to ever be on top of it, let alone stay there!!!

Some green horn chucked a rooster over my fence at 6 this morning! I can't catch it and it is antagonizing my free flock! I am getting p.o.ed.
:old
If you don't want your problem rooster any more..
DON'T CHUCK IT IN MY YARD!.
:smack
I have seen car before. It has a dent in the front right fender. Just wait till I see them again. It won't be a rubber chicken that hits them! But it will be stiff after I catch that little.....,......................
Oh my gosh! How close are people down there? I have a hard time fathoming this...lol.

They will eat YOU if you fall drunk in their pen.
I guess the key here is not to drink around pigs? :lau I used to sleep in the piglets trough...but they didn't eat me. :p
Yes you are right but you forgot 1 thing, 1 pig sh... like 50 chickens.
But you're missing that they're VERY clean. They really are if allowed.
Kind of like llamas.:thumbsup

I keep catching my dumb butt hens in the live trap!
:barnie:barnie:barnie:he:he:he:barnie:barnie:mad::mad::mad:
Mine do that too. I moved my traps...VERY frustrating!
