I usually turn the AC on when it hits 80*F ish, or whenever it starts to feel oppressively hot.

80 is oppressively hot? Our AC is set to 78 over the summer And sometimes that's to cold! Lol

I set mine for 74*F, otherwise it wouldn't run enough to keep the humidity down.

No, not really. If it starts to get uncomfortable I can turn the ceiling fan on.

I didn't get to share these here yet! I'm doing a project, trying to create a sustainable meat flock that is capable of breeding and living well while still growing big, quickly. My oldest CX hen started laying about a month ago and every one of her eggs had been going in the incubator. The first babies to hatch are mystery babies since I have no idea who mated her. This was Sunday, right after they hatched.

This is today already lol

Mom is CX. Since they have clean, yellow legs and straight combs, dad could be CX, welbar, legbar, or crele orpington. Any guesses? Doesn't really matter right now. I'm loving them though!
