here is a philosophical question to discuss with your teachers, parents, children, ............


Before the Question
Two prerequisites:
#1. The law of non contradiction. Something and its opposite cannot both be true at the same time in the same sense.
Example: flip a coin. Both heads and tails cannot come up on a single coin flip
#2. We have been able to find two types of “truth” statements.
a.The first example my favorite flavor of ice cream. I can change my mind next week and the statement is still true. Each person “at the table” can have a different favorite and it is still a true statement.
b. The second example is gravity. It existed before Isaac Newton discovered it and it exists even if I do not want it to and if I choose not to believe it I do not float away.


Now the Question.
Three hikers.
Hiker #1 says that after death nothing but dirt.
Hiker #2 says after death reincarnation.
Hiker #3 says after death die once and go to heaven or hell.
The question is what kind of truth happens after you die? Ice cream or Gravity (not which of the three hikers has the correct choice)

I really enjoy it. I find it helps me to work on both my mental and phi acuity. I don't want to loose coordination, balance, etc. as I age, and this helps me fight that. It is also fun and challenging to keep trying to get better.
