EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Six out of seven isn't so bad.
that's what I thought. The original auction was for 1-2 eggs.... and she sent me 7... so i'm happy that 6 made it intact. We will see what kind of development we get. I got my incubator running at a slightly lower temp now, than the chicken eggs were at. (I think my development on my silkie eggs that shipped MIGHT have been that I was running too high of temps.)

Also - I'm bummed. The guy I got my turkey's from, was sending me 4 more ducks and assortment of marans and other chickens, and they were born monday. He shipped them express 1 day shipping, because of monday being a holiday and send them out tuesday. They still aren't here. He's afraid they are going to be dead if they arrive tomorrow :(

Oh no :(

She is nine. Super excited. She is on day 5 of 70. She can hardly wait to get her chores done so she can put her check on the board.
My daughter asked for a puppy for over a year. She takes care of her horses, the goats and chickens daily, and only whines once in a blue moon... she got her puppy finally for her birthday. She proved she was responsible. She'll be 6 on december 5th.

DAY 18 CANDLE IMAGES/VIDEOS: post #41176

Great!!! upsidedown??? eggs are incubated air cell up you can leave them in the egg carton air cell up and set the candler on the air cell not sure I getcha?
I take them out to candle them, I put them in my bath tub in the egg carton. I think the incubator is too small to put the geese eggs in their with the air cell up. The silkie eggs in tiny cartons barely fit up right in there.

My candler also will not reach to my bathtub, to candle lol

(it is plugged in, to work.)
