I got home in time to spend some time with Levi and Lucy, and then my goats :love

While I watch them eat and the sunset, and each of my girls has come over one by one to be pet before going back to eating.

On the chicken front my Broody has two eggs in perfect draw down and it looks like the third one is a clear and I picked up five chicks from my friend who hatches blue egg layers and emeralds to put underneath her as soon these two can get out of shell. The rest even went up tonight without issue my Rhode Island Reds are always good but the other coop has some hens are just determined they can stay out as long as they can looking for bugs they are going to get left out one of these nights.

I have looked at your pictures but I have never done this and I just had my flashlight from my head light. All I can tell what's the difference between the dark three-quarters of the egg and the top Air cell. My question is is it ready to hatch her or are they dead, and I don't know the difference. I don't know when to put these chicks under her I don't want to kill those eggs that are there but I don't want to wait too long and she abandons the nest either.

I'm sorry, I think I missed previous posts... What's the situation? You don't know when they were set? I'd wait. Worst thing that happens is you have to hand raise the chicks.

bbq grill charcoal... I run almost no water until day 18 HERE IN FLORIDA.. And try to stay at around 55-60% 19-21 for my chicken eggs.
I don't know how your weather is. It rained cats n dogs here today.. You can taste the wet air like a boiling snowflake.
I have had humidity issues in the past because of spikes during the final 3 days while the chick is absorbing the rest of the blood.
Gooey mess.. Watch that Calibrated Hydro meter.
I cast upon you good fortune as well.:)
