yeah they are! Dads roosters got really mean, though my neighbor has a really nice one. He used to keep a RIR only flock. They were great birds (except the evil roosters!) and very talkative. Everyone has their favorite breed was supposed to be my point. haha :rolleyes::duc

If we are just atlking favorite "personality" breeds, I like silkies and bantam cochins. If we are talking layers, I like the Easter Eggers and the one (I think she's a white leghorn, but I'm not 100% sure) and my ducks. My ducks laid a looooot of eggs during the summer. almost more than the chickens. LOL
