I was thinking that same thing as I was walking back from the creek with my laundry basket on my head. I was thinking I need a bigger boulder to scrub cloths on or maybe a new brush. They I thought it's just me getting older... and the wicker brush is just fine.. I am blessed to have such a nice boulder. Maybe I drank too much water from the creek today? dunno?

I wore my boulder out.

We put signs up outside on the road saying "chickens and eggs on sale limited time".. neglecting for punishment by asking for unexpected visitors..
(but really need to down size fast).
A lady comes by and picks out 5 pullets and asks for 4 dozen eggs. We box the birds and hand her the eggs and she hands me a sack of quarters...

5 birds @ 10 bucks ea & 8 bucks for the eggs.. So now I have 72 quarters. If I was a kid in an arcade I would be in heaven. I am going to put them in a tube sock and bonk the next person in the head that pays with 5 lbs in coins...

THEN.. some guy who bought a couple hens asked how much for the 75# feeder pigs close by.. Hub says 175... the guy offered 45 bucks since he bought 2 birds and though he could get a break. Hub goes.. lets see...... pigs born June 9th, today is Oct. 22, It ate over $100 in feed since June... Sure... I don't need my money back.. I do this only so I can wake up to smell $#!h everyday. Here is the key to that Mustang over there as well... You proboly don't want it because the tanks not full ...OMG.. I thought the guy was gunna want his money back for the birds. Hubby walks to the house and lets the dogs out and the guy left swiftly.. Never a dull moment with my elegantly sarcastic spouse.
I took the signs down before he totally blew his gasket. At least when you sell on line, the price is pretty much set. 10 people today pushed his buttons with wanting something for nothing..

Headed out to mow the lawn for the last time before Spring... Hang out with the smokey hickory smell..
Birds birds birds... too many.. Halloween batch is the last one for awhile..

Maybe you should charge admission!!
That's pretty awful that people want so much for nothing. You'll have to give him a day off at a spa or something. Get him to relax after all that. Maybe you too having to deal with all that excitement. (You wish, right?)

Me too, but once they get 4 antlers they start to taste nasty... The young ones and Spike Ground hogs are great though....
