So hey ya'll I want some input on why you think my hatch went so poorly (cause it did ) I had a lot of early quitters, and quite a few DIS or pipped DIS. What are some of the things that cause this?

I dried everyone up in August before I made my big trip so that I wouldn't risk mastitis or put a burden on the people who werere doing my other chores.

I am FURIOUS!!! and writing to brinsea about it!!

look at this thing!!

All the hatch down is INSIDE the double lid that has a zillion screwed to be removed to clean the dang thing!!! wtfreak!! how on earth can they sell something that does that????

that's just unsanitary and to expect a buyer that spends almost 600 bucks to unscrew all that take apart just to sanitize it is freaking nuts!!!

PLUS they are getting splayed leg from the bottom part!! I added a towel but it said I don't need anything in the bottom because it has some sorta molded squares in the bottom!! ughhhhhhhh

Yeeeeep. I put a cut towl down in mine and have to unscrew the whole thing to try and sanitize it best I can, but it's really hard because of the nooks and crannies. Luckily mine is small so not as many screws. Sorry Sally

Dad is an EE, Mom is an Aurcauana/RIR/Cali.White cross. Hatched from a blue/green egg. So quite the barnyard Easter Egger!

All these goat pictures are so cute (except that one with the giant brown balls in the background!)

Mine hatched out looking like this. Not "quite" the same as yours..but kinda close.

I think I know who the Dad is. I have mainly EE's, Silkies and OEGBs. But I think I have faverolle influences peaking out every so often. That's why I had to ask what yours is...lol.

I already had to take it apart after the second incubation (NOT HATCHED IN BEFORE THOUGH) the stinking fan went!!! how many times will that cheap plastic let me take them out and put them back? its BS I tell you! how can they sell something like this???? I sent an email off and it wasn't nice esp after having to just do the fan!!!!
