EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

The dark speckles are normal. I do not know if breeding would necessarily change that. It does not bother me. I do have some pictures of Marans eggs that were entered in an Heirloom festival over on the coast several years ago so you can see award winning eggs

They did enter speckled eggs!

Get out!!! whodathunk!! and all this time I have been eating all of them worried I have faulty laying hens! I will add, I really didn't take the time to research either, as you know I have been AWOL during summer because of kids being home. Plus I am up and about more so I really don't sit too much online to look up stuff, if I do its been goat, kid or puppy related. Thanks for pulling those for me! I appreciate the help and knowledge!

Well looks like the snakes are going to the only person to contact us. We're giving them for free since she has to drive five hours to get them, but she has something like fifteen corns already so I know she's experienced enough to care for them.

Going to take a look at a crib our secretary is selling. Her kids are too old for the crib now and she won't be having more so we're going to see if we want it. If it's not white I can always paint it but if it's bigger than 60X120 cm then we won't be taking it. She has other stuff that we could get though if that happens, I ain't opposed to hand-me-downs. It's just the size is the most important because the sheets are only so big. If it's Too large then we're going to go ahead and get the IKEA crib I want. Either way we're buying a new mattress because I'm paranoid about bedbugs and stuff.

Sunday I'm gonna attempt to get weeding and stuff done in the garden and run. Nettles are taking over again and it's a never-ending battle. Also need to cut back the dead corn canes and clean out the dead cucumbers, then I need to pull the last of the peppers and bag the plants so they survive the winter. Also working on decluttering and cleaning the house for the next two weeks since I begin my maternity leave on the 30th and only have ~2 weeks to prep for Honeybee's arrival.

so Exciting!! take it easy bending up and down and up and down weeding! trust me, been there done it. Preterm labor twice, 2nd one almost killed the kid. be cautious I am old and I worry. I would love to see the nursery if your doing one. I only really had one for HArmonyAnn, the other kids never really had one. not that they don't grow out of it in two years and man does that time fly!

I can't tell the gender, because males and females look alike. It doesn't matter to me... I love angelfish and have never owned one.

Thanks, I like his color also. I'm very active on the RIR threads on FB, and an active member of the Rhode Island Club of America, so I am in contact with people all over the nation, even other countries. I already have an order for a pair from a lady in Idaho, and when I start advertising, I think the rest will go fairly easily.
