Rhea eggs are collected for food and many people eat their meat. Their skins are used in the manufacture of leather, and hunting to supply this trade has thinned their numbers considerably.

Yeah he does but he did cut me off at emus and peafowl. But I can get nearly anything else so I'm happy.

My husband said no emus, too.... LOL

I will have one someday though.

Lake tobias is a local sorta Zoo place we go to, and they have emu and them other things,  they have tons of nests with eggs out in the open fields and the bus drives right at them and I always wish I could go steal some eggs
