Bummer!Congrats! Habs got pasted 6--2 by the Oilers yesterday![]()
The world scares me more and more.Dominos now has insurance on their pizza. If it’s ruined before you eat it, they replace it. So I’ve been thinking.
What happened to, “you break it, you buy it!”? Stores are now sued if we break something.
Instead of telling a company their product stinks, I don’t buy from them anymore. They are so used to angry customers, they know how to fight. It’s not worth it for me.
Scary world.
Our daughter was lactose intolerant. If not breastfeeding, all other milk just came right back up. Never burp without a towel on your shoulder.Honeybee threw up because he ate too much last night, and we just put the clean sheet on without the matress protector because he was crying and I was too tired to wait for it to be washed. Well I give him his early morning bottle because I think he's making hunger signals and he had a coughing fit and threw up on the bed again. Now I'm waiting for the sheets to both go through the wash and sleeping on a towel.
I love ya kid but jeez.
It can be genetic but if artificially incubating, crooked toes and spraddle leg can also be from high or low temperature, inadequate breeder nutrition or smooth bottom hatching trays.Anyone know what causes some chicks to have leg or feet issues? Does it have to do with genetics or humidity?
Well my temperature remained steady during incubating. And I have the eggs laying on shelf liner not the shiny stuff it has gripper on it. I got the eggs through the mail.so I am not sure what happened but I will just have to work with the one that has the biggest issue it won't stand upThat is quite helpful, thank you very much.
Bummer!
Seems like the more players get injured, the better the Blues play.
They started the season with many injuries people thought would doom their season. 3 top players are now out for the season.
Maybe they should just fill the bench with their farm teams.

I also get curved and crooked toes in protracted hatches.
You never know with rooster!I'm wondering if I could house all my roosters in the goat shed over winter. I have 8 & the shed is 48 square feet. Stupid idea? I'm just trying to find ways to spare the hens, because I can't sell these guys for anything and I refuse to process in this weather. 35°F was bad enough. I don't think re-integrating with hens would be an issue, especially if I let them free range together whenever it's warm enough/they feel like walking through snow.
I thought of putting the ducks in there but it's a dirt floor and I don't want a repeat of last year just in case something gets through the frozen soil.
Thanks. I moved them in later that night, & the only thing they're annoyed at is the weather. No arguments so far.You never know with rooster!
They may become aggressive with each other. There should be enough room
Keep an eye on them. I have had them seem fine fro quite a while and then suddenly the blood sports startThanks. I moved them in later that night, & the only thing they're annoyed at is the weather. No arguments so far.
They're free ranging with the hens as of now... hopefully they don't get bored and vicious later on in winter.Keep an eye on them. I have had them seem fine fro quite a while and then suddenly the blood sports start
I've done it a few times. Once was a complete disaster when I moved them into a building after dark and as soon as I lit a flashlight they started killing each other.I'm wondering if I could house all my roosters in the goat shed over winter. Were they previously acquainted?I've done it a few times. Once was a complete disaster when I moved them into a building after dark and as soon as I lit a flashlight they started killing each other.
One time it went pretty well except they apparently kept the lowest ranking one from food and water and he died.
I'm thinking about making tiered quarters where I can put them all in one building but separated.
