We tend to skip the hills and rhe climbing back up and just tie the tubes behind the four wheelers and use the smallish pastures as sledding areas. Tends to be safe-ish under 25 miles per hour..... oh and avoid the culverts and fences.... yup good times. Get 10 feet of line between the tube and 4 wheeler and turn sharp, usually slingshots the rider off in a tumble.... remember go for the big open areas not close to rocks or water hole..... or trees
The artificial V-D is an antagonist to the walrus blubber you eat, so it doesn't absorb good in your system.
Walruse ribs are fine matirials for sleds, believe me I have experience in Walruses and sleds!
They have some "sowery " taste, I prefer the yellow ones.

I do not care for the taste of red banana's either, unless they are fried like a plantain.
When we were kids barb wire was always a problem for sledding....Well we actually never used sleds much, we used toboggans, one, two of 4 person ones.
The pasture fence was at the bottom of the hill. We would tie the bottom to wires up to the 3rd wire from the bottom. This would get us an extreme-----chewing out----- by Dad.
I think he was more concerned about the cows getting out than us losing our heads...
We would then slide down the hill and have to lay back so we went under the fence. It was a pretty steep hill and we got pretty decent speeds on it. Once we had a trail packed it was not too big of a problem. I only recall a friend hitting the fence post, I think we always made it under the wire.
The danger was on the other side of the wire, we had about 50 ft until we hit the river. There was a bend right there so you never knew if it would be frozen over or not. The river scared us, being farm kids and having to trap to had to the family income, we knew the dangers of river ice. The smart kids rolled off before the river. The idiots got wet.
