1+1/2 of rain so far today and it’s still coming down. Chickens look like drowned rats at this point.

I’d feel sorry for them if I didn’t know they had a dry place to go to.
The deer were out and about as well. We have 5 that have been hanging around in the yard lately. They do like the spent grain though and when I forget to cover it they really put a dent in it.

I have been out for barleyless weeks/days. My wallet looks like it was manufactured in Ethiopia.

My birds were out in the snow today. Everyone was loving the warmth!
The forecast has changed. Instead of two weeks of warm weather, it’s yo-yoing within thirty degrees.

Weather here is so strange as well. Seems to be staying at 45* nights and 60* days. Supposed to rain till 3:00 tomorrow unless it’s changed from 30 minutes ago. Warm winter so far.
