Kaj, they're all muscovies. Eight total! New game: what color will this one be when it grows up??

FWIW....All the yellow chicks I've hatched have turned out white. No idea whether the same holds true for quackers.

No white ducks at the parent farm, so I'm thinking the yellow babies will end up pied. Also I mostly meant the one in the back. morning.

Well, next spring she will be ready. That is a March kid that just went to the buck Saturday. Melody and Ruby are meat goats that are due.


GOOD morning everyone. I am not looking forward to the time change. I wish we would stay on daylight saving time so I could at least get off in the light occasionally. With standard time I go to work in the dark and get home in the dark for months.
I am moving the chickens next weekend since they won't get out often anyway with the time change since they will have to be locked up for a couple of weeks.
No kid yet. Maybe by the time I get home. Definite discharge.
