It was about this time of year when my run was blown down on a windy day. Since Hurricane Sandy, I’ve noticed a lot of strong winds. 60mph (and over) is fairly common.
Isn’t it hurricane season in Florida?

Summer. The Ocean needs to boil first. Ends in Nov.

The run isn’t doing so well. At least it’s still standing. A cross bar is down, and damage to the door.

I am going to be putting 30 eggs into lockdown today. I read the hatching 101 and saw the recommendation to lower the temperature at day 19. I've never done that before and I'm a little sceptical and scare to make that change. Is it really a good thing to do? I need some encouragement to actually do that!
