Thank you! Maybe I'll lower to 99 on day 19 and 98.5 on day 20. That's not as low as the article recommended, but I could see how it goes.

I found that I tended to have rapid hatches when I left it at 99.5--100, which led to more open/raw navels---and those are always a tad disconcerting. So, I like the slower hatches for that reason too.Thank you! Maybe I'll lower to 99 on day 19 and 98.5 on day 20. That's not as low as the article recommended, but I could see how it goes.
I wonder why we do it, then. Must be some good reason for it.Not that I've seen.

Interesting, and makes perfect sense when you understand the "why" of it.Keep reading; I posted a link.
I looked last week. I just have to figure it all out.The temp setting on my HB is so touchy, though; don't know that I could change it 1/2 a degree at a time.Interesting, and makes perfect sense when you understand the "why" of it.
I got my 1st ones from Southern States Co-op, but I'm not sure you have them there. Most recently I've gotten them from TSC, no problem.I’ve considered it. I apparently have to threaten the manager’s life to get the panels. I’ve been told repeatedly at various places that they don’t sell them. Of course by guys that don’t know their job (including a feedstore owner’s gs being groomed to take over). According to the TSC website, they do have the panels after all.I looked last week.
