It was “eat at the table” night. I made food I know she likes. You know how that went! If I were a new age parent, she would have been given grilled cheese because she said so.
As soon as I released her from the table, she asked for cheese puffs.
In all honesty, she’s been moody the whole day.

So, a lady came by today and wanted to by some chicks. I brought her a tub of chicks to choose the ones she wanted.
She started picking them up by their heads! I freaked out.. I said what in the ____ are you doing! She said.. "pinch em up by their heads and if the wiggle, they are a rooster, if they just dangle lifeless, it's a pullet". OMG. I asked her to DO NOT TOUCH ANY MORE. I sell straight runs. Straight runs w/o damaged goods.
She wouldn't buy any after that. She says she has been raising chickens since before I was born. She looked like mid 30's. I told her I'm 52 and just because you are doing something for years, doesn't mean you have been doing it right. I told her my son is almost her age. Thanks for the complement and now leave please. I have things to do.
