Now that is more established we are going to start using it. We used to have a great variety from Mexico but, the chickens took a liking to it after so many years of leaving it alone. The first meal I try this variety on will be chicken.
I’ll call it Za’tar from now on.
Mild freezes, 26* F didn’t seem to bother it. Is Za’tar a good companion plant to anything?
Normaly aromatic herbs aren't so good with others! They use chemical warfare (AKA Ethetric "oils" the same substance that makes them so Aromatic )against insects, fungi and microbes AND against other plants.
From the colinary point of view it is a part of a blend of spices from the arabic kitchen called......Za'tar to! (How original :lol:)

describe breech.. it needs to absorb all that fluid before it leaves the shell.

If the chick is pipping from the wrong end, leave it alone. Always leave it alone if it’s bleeding. As far as pipping from the wrong end, they really do often make it out.

Very original
I was thinking of planting tomatoes by it and other related plants to the tomatoes. Might keep bugs away?
