Thats a bummer about the older hens in with your Swed boy!  I would love to try again on the isabel at some point come spring, add me to your list please!!  I may just order chicks if you can do that, not sure what I will do yet! 

Love the ee project! sounds like they will be gorgeous!!    I am wondering if I keep the two with the beards in the BCM coop if I can tell their eggs apart later on from the bcm OE I have in there.  I guess I have to see what happens right? 

i would say you could tell the eggs apart as they are more likely going to be a lighter green egg than the bcm oe you have.
