I do I hate shopping
No kidding; both sexes have the racing stripes down each side of their head at birth, but the ones on the males turns white as they mature. Plus, only the males call.
Fourteen months later I'm still getting slight pains & twinges in the area, but everything checks out alright, so I guess it's just something I'll have to live with.
You can't sex them at birth, that I know of, but they don't go to picking at one another when they're little guys, either, unless they're overcrowded. Did you know you can also free range the bobwhites? Keep them in a cage with a chute in the side that allows them to get back in but not get out, and leave a male or two in the cage while you release the rest, and the males still in the cage will call the others back. Builds strength in your birds & cuts down on the grocery bill.I'll have to try those next, then.

oh lol
I love online shopping, as long as the shipping's free. Even better if I don't have to pay state tax. I'm one of Amazon's favorite customers. Orders usually delivered on the 2nd day.
I'll live; have too many people still to aggravate not to.
