EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

From what I understand, it's really hard to get a good balance in color. You either have hens with great copper hackers and way over colored roos or hens totally lacking the copper but perfect roos :/ I have the opposite issue right now. My pullets are looking great but my cockerels have way too much. No clue how the eggs will look though.

First three bucklings ,(black doe is photo bombing the third), and the doeling is beside her dam in the last picture. We have had such terrible weather into the last couple of days that most of these photos were taken quickly when they were just a few days old and I got them outside in a break in the rain snow ice and cold. The one with the dam was last night. Dragonfly and her for were coming straight at me and I couldn't get my camera ready fast enough.

ok so that post says to DAX.... that first pic one in the back is very long! love them too stinking cute!! look good and healthy too!!
