You need refrigerators because frozen lettuce isn't tasty. Too cold outdoors for that. Now, freezers on the other hand... as long as you can keep your frozen chicken away from the hungry coyotes, you're good.

It wasn't the temperature I went in winter..... It's just the city......I can't do cities anymore.

Most everything dog related is cleaned up. 12 hours until “you know” happens. I have had to help others make this decision when their animal was more obviously suffering.
