What are you scraping? Do goats' feet have a frog, like a horse's?
There's a sole with some spongy white stuff on it, and I don't think it's supposed to be there since my other goat has hard(ish) soles.

That looks pretty straightforward. I guess the main thing is to back off when it starts showing pink; that's getting close to blood, & you don't need that. Besides, they wouldn't walk right for a while; it'd probably be a bit ouchy.
 
They've got a pile of rocks in their run, but they're pretty smooth.
I'm afraid I'm fresh out of ideas. Your friend who told you about the foot rot, maybe? Or Youtube?....Youtube is your friend...Youtube knows everything :D
 
I went out to work on her feet. They're much better than last time, and three of them don't smell any more. :fl
I seem to recall someone, several years back, suggesting bleach, but I'd check that out before trying it; I'd think it might burn them.

I can picture it now; you pick up a foot and get your face real close to it for a good whiff, just about the time she decides to kick :)
