I have to build two more covered hay feeders, and enclose the new sun room for the winter. It will be great for my kids. It is 10x22. I am going to enclose that little walk through door at the southwest corner for winter and then there's an opening at the East end it's 6 by 8 and I'm going to close that too so the only entrance will be from the loafing shed area to keep the wind from blowing through. Two of the colored plastic panels are made into windows so that they can be propped open in the summer.

I have to figure out how to do repairs around here, and it often overwhelms me. You seem to know how to do everything, and get it done without a second thought.
You know all about farming too, and that impresses me. Of course, I have no idea what your life actually is like. I do know that if something has to get done, I tell myself that you do it, so I should shut up, and get it done somehow.

Well thank you. I can build stuff but there are other things I'm at a total loss for and can't stand dealing with especially if it's related to Plumbing. tonight after work I'm going to treat a goat that is sick. Then I got to climb up on top of the hay and string some wire across and down. I'm going to put the outlet on the wall and the wire there. Then I'm going to pay someone to come actually hook it up because I don't hook up electricity. I would rather pay someone to know it's right. It scares me.

Well, my birds are finally starting to get their feathers back in the HRIR pen. I was beginning to think they were going to freeze this winter if they didn't hurry up.
Nobody else said, did you have lower egg numbers this year?

Percentage is up numbers down. I sold all old hens.

Snowshoes it is. I almost got Nubians, but I was told they were rubbish in cold, so I scratched that idea. Hi, whites!

Yes they are NUBIAN and that means something!
