We are 56 degrees and super windy. I’ll take that wind and warmer temp. Gonna dry this ground out!

I'm hoping things thaw out a bit, frozen ground is swollen, can't open one barn door. I have access through another door, but will dig some ground out in the next couple days when it softens up.

It rained and blew most of the night here.... ahhhh.
I should not complain we do need the moisture, th as t doesn't make it fun to do chores in the wind and rain

We're having a heatwave, a tropical heatwave. Thirty six degrees and rising.

I’m still waiting for the ice to release the prefab coop, so I can move it, and start getting it ready for quail.

Wind and rain all night. This is supposed to last till Tuesday.

Was waiting for a break in the wind and rain to feed mine and neighbors chickens. Not happening so far today, all fed.
With the back door on coop it’s warmer in there so might get wire installed yet.

Well, I'm officially 29. My birthday was yesterday and I was out and about for most of it. It ended up being a fun day. Dad bought me 2 limes and presented them to me as my birthday present. Meanwhile, the rabbits are forever begging for whatever I happen to have in my hand.

Just coming in the house from morning chores and rounds. Quail hatching this morning. Look closely on this rack as there are 2 out. Lots of pips on the other 2 racks. Gonna get a cup of coffee then hook up a gooseneck and head to town for a load of fencing materials. Windy 31 degrees with a mid-week snow coming I guess.

We’re supposed to get snow tomorrow.
