ouch. I hope it's usable it didn't cost you too much to fix.

I was blessed that this limb that came down Friday and one of our storms didn't do more than put a little crack in the concrete of the porch. it's 18 in around the base and over 25' long. it was not fun cutting it up in the 90 degree temperatures this weekend but it is done and stacked.

It’s usable but as to the cost it could have been much worse. Neither of the two rams were hurt just the stabilizer bar and it’s supports.
Very lucky on the tree. We have lost so many in the past year. Several more need to come down before they do. Ones at a 45 over our driveway

the problem here this year is the rain. we have had massive amounts of it from the second week of May until the first week of July we never went more than a day or day and a half without rain and at one point it rained everyday for like 14 of 15 days. we got almost 15 in in May which is way over I didn't hear what we got in June but it was it wasn't just that it was raining it was raining massive this problem is compounding because not only can we not get the hay harvested but the Farmers can't get the crops in what they did get in which riding in the field added to that last year we had a massive drought so there is a severe shortage here in the Midwest. the Lord finally blessed us with a few nice days to get the first cutting in, but most of it will be really low in protein because of the massive amount of rain that which could be saved Alfalfa most of it was lost.
Our yearly average is near 20”. I think we are at 26” I haven’t added it up yet. Still 15” in one month is crazy.

Can you give me the whole name? I’ve got her on antibiotics and an anemia protocol. Poor thing is always getting something.

yes, and then we followed it by a little over 11 in in June. so we got almost half a year's worth of precipitation in about six weeks.. and never stopped for more than 36 hours until the first week of July.
