Oh, I saw your humidity advice. I just thought that I, an experienced [read: foolish] incubator of one hatch, knew better than you. I was thinking about my nonsense the whole time I was marking cells this morning. "Oh...I, uh...I guess @Sally Sunshine was, uh, right about the humidity." My great failing is knowing it all and then being embarrassed by my results. Luckily, I am wise-ing up!

My bator runs 99.5 to 100.5. Well, my Brinsea does. I've decided to put the shipped eggs in my cheap Janoel backup, and it is really sensitive to ambient temps, so it varies a bit more. I just can't stick those dirty eggs in with my nice ones!

Oh, and regarding the US Postal Service, I'm actually pretty happy with it, in general...because I lived in Mexico for a bit, and let me tell you how much I missed the good ol' USPS. It may function poorly at times, but at least it functions, lol!

It's, true, we are lucky that it runs as well as it does.

No, I am using the green swirled one..ask me if I remember the name?? . It has a great... clean smell. I find myself smelling my hands after using it. .

Her first shipment made me cry a little because it smelled like “home.” I’m part PA Dutch like her, and the soap smelled like the good times of my youth. I actually kept a bar in a compartment of my coffee table so I could sniff it a million times a day.

Hey guys i have a chick hatching atm, first time hatching so i was wondering when its too long and when to step in.
its been almost 48hrs since it pipped and hes not even half way around yet. Is this normal? Hes the only one atm, the others haven't pipped as far as i can see, we're just about on day 21 (its 11:18pm here right now).

Since it’s an early hatcher, maybe it’s not dead. However, pip to zip should only take up to 24 hours.

I’d assist, being careful to not go too fast since it might not be ready. If nothing else, check for life, and moisten the opening if it is drying out.

Hes definitely alive, moving and calling out but it looks like hes struggling and just cant break out of the shell

I don’t see a reason. Well, I’m not going to fib, I’d open it some, and see if it can finish on its own.
It could have a deformity, but you’re probably going insane watching it struggle.

Hes out!! The membrane was just really thick and had started to dry out. Humidity is sitting on 70% so shouldn't that be alright? Hes in there kicking all the other eggs around hopefully theres no problems with the other chicks!

We haven't ventured in to the school shopping yet but it's going to happen soon. I was hoping that our old house would sell before school started so we wouldn't be strapped getting school stuff but it looks like our closing date is estimated to be the day before school starts. Maybe it'll change lol

I ended up doing the application for kohls card. Why when I have no annual income and I dont want a kohls card. Well because it says "apply for a kohls card and get 35% off" so it declined me and i didnt get the card i didnt want in the first place and i got my 35 percent off! Hehehe and a 15 percent off coupon to boot and i got 50 bucks cash back. Now if i tell too many people some tricks it would screw me Winks
