EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

I should probably shut up, but the U.S and Israel should quit playing nice. No more just targeting Terroirist leaders, target any supporters, too. This has been allowed to go on for far too long.
No you don't have to.
I agree with you completely!
where else in the all world you can see A teacher (me) teaching in a school that 50% of its pupils ( 400 pupils of the The younger classes) have been send to there home in the middle of the learning day because of F....ing Missiles?!

In the US it would be for just plain old gunfire. But they would probably need to shelter in place - but the learning day is still over.

Yes I can understand that, it's not fun in either case.
Not to diminish what you are going through or the constant threat to your country - I guess I understated it, I characterized our ongoing problems as 'plain old gunfire' but more accurately it is often more - as in gunfire from weapons suitable for the battlefield.
You know where the source of the majority of your threats come from. Ours could be from any random crazy person - of which we seem to have more than our fair share.
There have been at least 84 incidents of gunfire on school grounds so far in 2019.
Furthermore, school shootings are the tip of the iceberg. Nearly 2,900 US children are shot and killed every year. More than an additional 15,000 are shot and injured each year. 3 million American children are exposed to shootings per year.
Yet it is so pervasive that it has become normal and many overlook it.
That never happened when I was growing up. The only time we had active shooter drills was in case of a nuclear war with the Soviet Union. That was known as duck and cover drills.
The picture in the following link looks eerily similar to active shooter drills.

I've heard that violent video games are a contributor. I submit the following.

I should add that I'm not anti-gun. I've had guns since I was quite young. They were primarily for hunting. I now have most of the same guns I had then. Over the years we had a few nice old guns stolen in a burglary at the farm.
I have a 12 gauge single shot shotgun, a 7 shot .22 cal. revolver, a semi-automatic .22 rifle and a 7 MM Mauser rifle.
While I rarely use them, I've still never found the need for an assault rifle.
That is the element in common with the deadliest mass shootings.
