I've found a small hatchery that has ams with a focus on blue and black. Same with their bcms. It's Deer Run Farm. Their ams look right for the breed. The price bothers me, though. I know they aren't breeding SQ, but it still seems too low.

They're just up the road from me; dealt with them before ....a dozen BCM hatching eggs. Only had 4 of the 12 hatch, & 2 of them had leg problems, but I'm not sure the problems weren't the fault of the finicky temps in my Hov-a-bator.

I need alternatives to Styrofoam egg cartons for incubating shipped eggs. I have eggs coming this week and Styrofoam cartons are nowhere to be found!

OK. Because I read somewhere on here that if it wasn't Styrofoam, then the heat wouldn't circulate around the egg evenly and hatch rates would go down.
