It looks like all of the incubator eggs are quitters.

I didn't read the last 5 pages but I have to ask, is yours a flat roof or sloped roof? If a sloped roof, do you know the slope angle (inches per foot)?Instead of bothering one person, I’m going to bother several!
I found a guy willing to work on my roof. I have to buy apx 25 gallons of tar. Tar isn’t as popular as it was in the 80’s, and that makes it a headache to find tar instead of a stupid reflective coating that is $60+ and doesn’t do anything for me. My other option is that rubber sealant that is over a hundred dollars a bucket.
These are what I found. Of course one is only small cans. Regardless, if you know what I need, please tell me.

Going into lockdown with 18 eggs. They're still moving and the air cells look good, so here's hoping something hatches that doesn't have a ton of problems.
I think it may be time for most of the chicks to go out. The ducks really need to since they've gotten huge. Most of the chicks (and the ducks) are sleeping on top of the brooder plate at night. The Houdan, OEGB, turkey, and Salmon Fav are staying in for now.
Well...
We've pretty much given up with school, but I've been in touch with the teachers and they are OK with what we've got done, so I'm not stressed about it. We live in a small, rural community and the teachers know the educational value of spending springtime outdoors...I've not so much locked the kids up as locked them outside.
I lost 3 of my 5 chicks that hatched for the shipped eggs. Not sure why--they were all healthy and vigorous. I ordered more eggs, and am down to 10 out of 18 on day 7.
My air cells were much more damaged this time. The perils of working with a rare breed....
Husband went and bought some lumber, so I'm looking forward to getting a bigger coop some time this summer!
OH! And my biggest bit of news...I think I have a BROODY hen!![]()
