EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Which of you were the one who uses a Govee temp/RH sensor?
I bought one which came today and hooked it up. It seemed great but when I stuck it in the incubator it is no longer communicating with my android phone. Any ideas>?
The incubators are upstairs and I with my phone are downstairs.
That was me. I've found that it doesn't have a great range. That's the only problem I've had with it aside from general sucky phone problems. Bluetooth in general doesn't have a great range, but the govee seems to have a shorter than normal range.

I didn't read the last 5 pages but I have to ask, is yours a flat roof or sloped roof? If a sloped roof, do you know the slope angle (inches per foot)?

I have both flat and sloped roofs. For flat, EPDM rubber is the way to go but another good option is modified bitumen which is also known as torch down. I stay away from tar but old roofers know that well. It just doesn't live as long as EPDM and torch down. For a sloped roof, I'd stay with shingles or metal.
Completely agree. Tar on comp shingles not a good idea.

Sloped. I don’t know the angle.
