30 -40 mph here. Higher in the mountains. Hope it calms down by the time it gets to you.

Sounds about the same with 70 mph gusts... They are comparing it to the Columbus Day storm in the 60s... I don't know. I want alive.

It's got to be taught. I just stick the beak gently into the water and the feed. Sometimes they don't eat for awhile cause they are good from absorbing the yolk. The chick will catch on!!!

Put it on a paper towel and put the feed in front of it. It may still be to young to want to eat.

Also what heat source do you have? Temps should be near 95 at this point

You don't! It's a giraffe, and it's stuffed!! It can wait for a day or so to eat, but put the food on a paper towel in front of it.
