@MotorcycleChick I process all pullets I don't plan on breeding. Though we do have some crosses and EEs that won't be hatching any of their eggs. We don't sell eggs so get plenty for our family with keeping it this way. I haven't tried selling them.

Turtle, tortoise....they both need to stick their necks out! On the Porch we decided ours was a turtle so that's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

That is true. Not all turtles/terrapins/tortoises can pull their head inside their shell.
Turtles spend most of their life in water and usually have webbed feet. That would make all sea chelonians turtles. (Snapping, Softshells, Leatherbacks, Green sea turtles)
Terrapins spend part of their life in water and part on land. (sliders, painted, box)
Tortoises are things like Galapagos, Gopher and Desert.

Never tried it before, green tomato casserole. Have seven grocery bags of green tomatoes. Already made a bunch of sweet bread and butter green tomato

Was roasting pumpkin seeds so tried a green tomato casserole recipe, so yummy! Supper yummy good!
