I named my birds to. On Sunday I processed Pickles and Biscuits. Pickles tasted great. Biscuits is a duck who needs a recipe.

I do not keep chickens the way close to all of the incubating community does. I have read up on proccessing, watched videos, and I think it is a great way of putting extra food on your table. I realize death is a part of life. But, I still choose not to proccess. I am not anti-meat in any way, but I have decided my chickens are pets. Someday I will probably try my hand at it, but not now.
