Incubation isn't that hard. Accurate thermometer, steady thermostat, adequate turning, weigh eggs or candle if possible.
I usually candle twice. Not to look at air cells but to look for development. Once at about 10 days and again at 18 or 19 days.
I check for proper humidity by weighing. IMHO, that's more accurate than candling. I don't even own a hygrometer. I threw them in the trash cause I couldn't keep them calibrated.
