Goats are fun! In my first 6mos with chickens my whole flock had severe dry pox and life-threatening wet pox. That's when I read Kathy's info and she walked me through tubing and supportive care. After that I was able to handle the coyote and dog attacks. Trial by fire.

I've had goats for 8 months and other than struggling to get Beaux on a bottle that first week it's all been easy peasy!

No. I changed the locks and swallowed both keys. Took all the tools, and boarded up the windows.

Well, you forgot one thing..... The trapdoor under the rug. Kinda cool down here- plenty of food, and several escape hatches!

She just wormed. Unless the eyelids are very pale I would not. People are worming too much. I have a couple of boers that have only been wormed once this year and are fine. Especially since she was doing a fecal.

That's why I said since she was doing a fecal, to deworm AFTER it came back

FIL was also known to shop trucks.

I think Terra Vet 200 and LA300 are both just oxytetracycline. One is 200 mg/ml, the other is 300 mg/ml, and I think both can cause severe injection site necrosis?

I always call or text her with what is going on and follow her recommendation. It is just a matter of getting it from her so I have it available without spending an hour to go get them. I am unfamiliar with terravet.

I missed that. Sorry, it is a real problem with over worming and worming with the wrong med. Resistance is getting too common so I am a bit touchy.
