That's great news, Dax!

My son and I were baking cupcakes earlier and we decided to try the "shake the egg till the aircell dislodges and you hear it pop".
I was amazed it took so much to dislodge the Aircell. We ended up doing it on 3 store bought eggs.
I am curious if anyone has tried comparing store bought egg to your own eggs. Assuming aircell size was similar I wonder if the home raised eggs would be able to withstand more jarring.
Not sure if healthier hens eggs that can withstand more jarring than store bought or not.
Just thinking out loud...

Interesting thought. If you do the experiment, let us know!

Interesting I didn't know you could do that.

I hope you have a good hatch. Any way to set up another brooder for the Sebright until they recover?

I thought about that...BUT the other chicks are waking them up and keeping them interested in eating and drinking... 2 have already snapped out of the funk and are racing around continuing their own search for edibles n such...one being that one who wedged herself inside the feeder(originally just barely pecking at the food, mostly snoozing)... I intentionally put another in there hoping everyone pecking around would do the same...she's just sleeping. I'm giving the sleepers another hour for the water and gro-gel to start getting in there systems, then I'll dip and interact with them some more. Had to do this with one of the Andalusians couple days ago... it was very dehydrated, just didn't find the water I guess...it's normal and chasing my fingers now :)
