Crank up the charger to high and they respect it. Hogs are another story....
They get out.
If a bull decides he wants out, no fence in the world is going to keep him in. If he can't go over it, he'll go thru it. Normally, though, unless something or someone scares him or angers him, a well made electric fence with a few thousand volts on it will keep him contained. If he smells a cow in heat all bets are off...just don't get in his way.
We only had bulls get out of barbed wire, not electric.
I think I told the story here about my bull that walked right through a barn wall like it was paper.
