Quote: I just looked up RSD; that sounds like some nasty s--t,,,,nerve damage similar to what I have as a result of Shingles, only mine isn't nearly as painful. I don't have full function or feeling in one hand; sometimes numb, sometimes tingling, and the finger joints frequently lock up, but that's short-lived. Nerve damage takes a while to repair itself; been three years for me so far. My pain is minimal; more of a nuisance than anything. In my case, it certainly isn't debilitating; just a pain in the butt to put up with sometimes.

I don't mean to be a "Gloomy Gus" by any means, but I figure you'd want to know & can handle it, given your profession.

I had nerve damage in my hand, I smacked my hand into a wall when I was a kid, it took it years to heal enough for me to have any kind of hand strength in it (and it's why milking a goat is hard for me, with this hand.)

Good morning everyone!

I knew you would look it up as did I when the radiologist told me what he suspected. yes I'm scared if that is what it is but I have read about the research and treatments. i am not so much worried about the pain-it's the possible loss of function because of workmans comp screwing around and being in denial that this is what it could be. They say the outcome is much better if caught in the first 3 months and I am at 8 weeks now. I just wish someone would listen to me instead of fear of me sueing or something stupid like that. I just want treatment to get fixed and go as back to "normal" as I possibly can!

Did you know that (

Hello, have fun making the applesauce!

Hello MC!

I just remembered that I have sausage gravy in the freezer. I guess I will defrost it. I don't have anyone to eat it, so I will have to choke it down with fresh biscuits and eggs.
Yum!

Sorry about your injury, @meltel .

When I woke up, my right hand was numb - that happens after a hard day of yard work (carpel tunnel issues). I sometimes have to wear a brace at night. But, miraculously, my shoulder is fine after yesterday.

Finally finished with the dilly beans. I really should head outside and start digging right now. I DON'T WANT TO. I think I'll make another cup of coffee...
