My mom rode with me once to dig so dirt for gold panning back when I was in better shape. She asked me wasn't I scared lol. I told her I was more scared in her neighborhood. No one was gonna bother US out there. Never seen a soul.
I know her teacher will be happy.

True the wildlife in the city is much more to be worried about. I don't miss the man hunts every weekend.

I am and we have a lot of red clay.

Clay shouldn't stop them; I don't know what to tell you. We see them dead on the roads around here all the time. I have one under my old chicken house most years. Great sport hunting them with rifles around here. Young ones not bad eating.

Are rock chucks the same thing. At least that's what we called them. Alll over the place in Susanville where we used to live

My little ones didn't last very long in their costumes, it was 90+ so we just had them wear the hat part... but my toddler kept taking his hood off and throwing it.

He was very good at saying "TREAT TREAT" when he'd get to people's doors though. He knew what he wanted!
