I feel bad I didn't get them in, but I'm not heartbroken.

I'm a bad poultry momma.

Duckling has torn three legs off of Spider this morning.

I lost a guinea last night... They were free ranging and didn't go back in.

I thought I lost a duck when I let them out this morning. One was missing. I do a head count like 3-4x a day, including when they go in at night and when I let them out in the morning.
This particular duck got stuck in the water jug and I had to help it out. LOL

That happened to one of the girls when they were little... I nearly had a panic attack before I saw the jug wiggle!

I heard it chirping! LOL I was moving the dog crates looking behind it, before I finally figured out it was in the water jug. I use the gallon plastic water jugs. Easily to replace, clean and fill.

I feed them at night in the dog crate so the chickens can't steal their food.... so they have to have water in the dog crate and it just makes it easy to fill and clean out everything.

I didn't think the hole was big enough for a duck to fit in. I almost had to cut the hole bigger to get it out. It couldn't figure out how to get out. hjahaha

I've had to cut the hole bigger when they were smaller to get them out. Dunno why they try to get in an empty jug.

I liked dressing up, but i'm over it now. I'm ready for TURKEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Plus, TOTing in 90+ degree weather was a pain. I was sweating by the time I got home.
