They can have many types of mites and lce at the same time. Go get the permethrin spray and treat all before you have a serious problem.

we are my mom said we are gonna do whatever we have to to get rid of it.is that maybe why my hens aren't laying because we have about 50 hens and we are only getting 1 to 5 eggs a dayTreatment is the same for mites and lice. Get some permethrin spray!

Um it's all over even my silkies the have been in cages of the ground.and also I think they have the mites course some have scales popping up on legs and some have sores
Off the ground aint gonna stop lice.... And it sounds like you're describing scaly leg mites.
What do you mean by sores?
I suspect that he has an infestation of several types of mites *and* lice, and I think they can get sores from excessive preening due to the infestation.

Tell you mom that you need permethrin spray and a spray bottle.

It is possible that parasites are a cause but just as likely that time of year is why you're not getting many eggs. It is the time for them to shut down for a winter break.we are my mom said we are gonna do whatever we have to to get rid of it.is that maybe why my hens aren't laying because we have about 50 hens and we are only getting 1 to 5 eggs a day

So you have scaly leg mites as well?
That is a different treatment.

I understand the mirror, but why red marbles, as opposed to another color? Have anything to do w/eye color? I know my rooster, nasty devil that he is, has red eyes, but I never took particular notice of eye color on any others.
