Thanks Banty. I have been around but not here too much. Sally knows of what's gone on the past few months and can enlighten everybody if she would like. Well, I suppose I can too.

About the time I kinda went off grid this summer, my wife and I were in a pretty horrific accident caused by a drunk driver. The investigators have deemed it a picture perfect double fatality and said we both defied all odds walking away. My wife and I had fished a tournament about 4 hours away and were on our way home when he ran a stop sign taking us out. Totaled one of my 2015 Cummins and our 2011 24' Blue Boat. But we are alive. I had another surgery on the 20th of Oct and am doing well. My wife has quite a bit of nerve damage and such. It will be a long heal. But the farm is doing great and operating as normal. All of my kids have moved home and chose to go to college locally so they can help out more. We are blessed to still be here.
:hugs I am very glad you survived. I will say a prayer for you both. Glad you checked in.
They are the "intense color" chick pack.

Awesome! They look great.

@Chaos18Glad you are back too!

@Sally SunshineHi! I have to sell at least three of them to pay for the does. I borrowed money from my vacation fund to buy them knowing that I could sell the kids for enough to pay for the does.

Dax is this for chickens? Not sure mine would go through it.
Someone has it working, but I don't know if it would either. I read about something like this once in another thread. The added strips gradually so at first they only went through a couple, then they added more and more.

I might be able to get the bigs ones to go but the Altsterier wouldn't

The TJ eggs were due to hatch today, and I tend if anything to gets slightly early hatches.
These guys did not hatch and look a ways off being ready. I checked the temp and it is 100 as always (brinsea cabinet). The Bator is in the basement where it has been for 2 years.
I wonder if the age of the eggs, and the fact that they were washed and chilled could affect development in this way. It seems mighty strange.
There were a huge number that developed blood rings early on but that is to be expected.
We shall see what happens tomorrow.
