@shahtir101 We have one little baby, and yer gonna get upset with me! I had a procedure Monday and I totally forgot to lock them down Sunday night and I didnt add lockdown water until too late, I dehydrated them in the shell. She has one from the batch and is terrible upset with me about loosing the chicks. ughhhh so I apologize for killing them to you as well :hit she is at least happy she has this little one
Awe! That little guy is so cute though! Don't worry about it! It happens to everyone! Glad you are ok after your procedure! Tell Harmony I'll send her more when the hens start laying again :)

I may be tempted to violate my own rule against ever incubating pullet eggs.
The birds have been laying a little over a week and started at 27 weeks. Their eggs have been darn big for pullet eggs.
They've all been between 60 and 70 grams. I guess that's the advantage of delaying onset of lay.
Usually they start out around 50 grams and sometimes less.

Well guys..... 34 years ago today.... I was wearing an OZZY concert jersey and my wife a tie dye maternity top... We got hitched in front of a probate judge.
I was 18 at the time..... Chris was 15
It was against the judges best judgement and everyone have us a year. But here we are... Three kids and several grand kids later

Congratulations my friend! :thumbsup

I am glad they are doing well. You have worked hard to recover from your losses of such a rare breed.
My 3/26 heritage RIR are not there yet.

Wonderful, set the biggest ones. How was onset of lay delayed?

That's a great story. Congratulations. Who says good things don't last.
My oldest sister was married at 15. It lasted almost 15 years but was pretty rocky from the start.
She's been with her second husband almost 30 years.
I was a late bloomer but we recently celebrated our 30th.

Thanks. I have 2 more due any time now and another 15 in the next month or two. Then 5 or 6 more to start sometime in January and some Olive eggers that are a month old.
