no one is laying but the blue bcm one egg a day if that, and one polish egg.

Guess I'm doing good getting the 8 average eggs a day right now. Rains really slowed them down yesterday but I also free ranged them so who knows where they laid if they did.
Here they are enjoying their bone soup.

Yes we are going to my dads house for Thanksgiving it's not very far it's just we are bringing everything to them.

I was thinking the same. I can plant peas and broccoli here and it will survive the winter.

I bought two rope lights at Lowes yesterday. I think I'll use them this spring when moving older chicks to the growout pens and they still need a little high time heat (along with the Mama Heating Pad

You probably will believe this. I thought it was ridiculous to not go ahead and get the bigger bottle of Jack since I was getting the bigger bottle of the other two. However, I decided that I already looked like enough of an alcoholic mom. My purse was open with diapers, wipes, a sippy cup and extra pants sitting on top. As she was ringing me up, I pulled a horse out of my flannel pocket. So, I thought that getting a smaller bottle made me look like less of a bad person.

I honestly cannot believe I still have Internet. It went out last night a few times. So far, it has not gone out today. That wind is brutal!
I seriously need to cover the windows with plastic. I can feel a breeze coming in from almost all of the windows.
