the one you incubated for a few days, took out, left on the counter a week and then put back in? lolRemind me to tell you about the chicken egg I tried to kill.

Quote: No, this is a cold egg that I found in a nest, probably about two weeks 10-14 days incubated by a hen. Found it at about the time my pigeon hatched, so I stuck it in the 92 degree RCOM with the pigeon and humidity at 65%. Of course the pigeon had to be fed several times a day, so the incubator was opened 4-8 times a day. Every 1-3 days I would lower the temp a degree because the pigeon seemed like it was getting to hot. Would it surprise you to know that it managed to pip @ 85 degrees?

@Fire Ant Farm , I don't know what happened, but will post later about some of the oddities I noticed right before she died. Will also try to necropsy her tonight or tomorrow.

and here I am trying to do every thing perfect and STILL getting an average of 37% hatch rates...
