Hatch update:
Looks like the TJ eggs have done hatching. Over a dozen out from 3 dozen eggs set. Not too bad for old, washed and chilled eggs.
Of the second set there are 10 out - not sure yet what but some look like Swedish black hens and there is a male cream Legbar. Still some eggs to go.

That's quite the variety of colors.Well these are the "early hatchers" - the late hatchers are in the trays above. Most here are the white TJ chicks.
Will take more pics tonight when they get moved to the brooder.

I'm afraid that if i put them out in the shop or in one of the outbuildings that the rats (we get those cute little brown rats that are just a big bigger than mice, but so annoying!) will chew holes in them, so they're in the house right now. They take up a lot of room, so i'd like to get them out of here.Any ideas?
